About Paul Cellarius

Starting counseling can feel like a big step, especially if you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin.

You don’t need to have the right words or a clear plan. We’ll slow things down together and find a way forward that feels steady, manageable, and real.

Meet Paul

I’m Paul Cellarius, a Registered Clinical Counsellor based in Victoria, BC.

I work with children, teens, and adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck, especially when emotions feel hard to manage or make sense of. Clients often come to me when they’re tired of trying to “figure it out” on their own, and want a space that feels steady, thoughtful, and grounded.

In our work together, I won’t rush you or push you into something that doesn’t feel right. We’ll take things at a pace that feels manageable, helping you build clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of direction over time.

My Counselling Approach

My approach is grounded in depth psychology, which means we look beneath the surface, not just at what’s happening, but why it keeps happening.

I’m also trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). These approaches help us turn insight into practical change, so what we talk about in session carries into your daily life. Therapy with me is not about pressure or quick fixes. It’s about developing a clearer understanding of yourself and building the capacity to respond to life in a steadier and more intentional way.
