Certified therapist with years of experience supporting children, teens, and adults in Victoria, BC
With years of experience supporting children, teens, and adults, I have a real soft spot for working with young people as young as six. I also value the depth and complexity that adults bring to therapy.
Every person is different, so I tailor the work to you, not the other way around. My goal is to create a safe, caring space where you (or your child) can express yourself openly, explore emotions, and grow at your own pace.

Child therapy gives kids a safe, calm space to share feelings and make sense of their world. Along the way, they often build stronger self-esteem, emotional awareness, and resilience that supports them as they grow.

Being a teen can be a lot — and being the parent of a teen can be, too. If things feel heavy, confusing, or just too much, it’s okay to ask for support. You’re not alone in figuring this out.

Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or a major life transition, I’m here to support you as you move toward healing and self-understanding.
I work with children, teens, and adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of themselves, and who want a steadier way forward. In therapy with me, you’ll find warmth, gentle humour, and a calm, grounded space where you don’t have to have things figured out to begin. My training is in depth psychology through Pacifica Graduate Institute, where the focus is on understanding the deeper emotional patterns that shape our lives. I am also trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) — approaches that help people relate differently to difficult thoughts and feelings, clarify what truly matters to them, and take meaningful steps forward.
I’ve worked extensively with adults navigating anxiety, emotional pain, and life transitions, as well as with children and adolescents in school and community settings. I’m told I am steady, thoughtful, and attuned — especially when emotions run high. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, combining practical tools with deeper reflection, always guided by your values and strengths.
Starting counselling can feel like a big step. If you’re looking for a therapist who is warm, present, and genuinely invested in your growth, I’d be glad to walk alongside you as you find your way.
Counselling at Steady Heart is grounded in a client-centred approach that honours each person’s unique needs, experiences, and pace. Rather than focusing on quick fixes, therapy is shaped around building understanding, emotional awareness, and lasting change.
Steady Heart Counselling believes that healing happens in a safe and inclusive space where people feel heard, respected, and supported. Our work together is collaborative and thoughtful, creating room to explore challenges, strengthen inner resources, and move toward greater confidence and well-being.
I’m available for in-person sessions. They’re a great option if you need more privacy, or if real-time, face-to-face connection feels most supportive.
